Caffeine and Carbs Photo Dump

I’ll apologize up front but I am somewhat upset with Lotus so this photo dump is a little heavy on Loti.

I like shots like this to get a feel of the “scale” of a car. I’ll give you a hint, that guy with the iPad is not that tall, and it’s not an iPad Pro.

I’ll just come out and say it, i was really unimpressed with the Huyara (sp?). Not my thing, it was a bit too much...

So instead of drooling over the Huyra, I took advantage of the distracted crowd and got some unobstructed pictures of a very sweet 328

This is a pretty unique lotus I didn’t even know existed, an “Elcat”

There is no such thing as too many Lotuses. Also, blue Ferrari is best Ferrari.

What surprises me about the new ATS in the pics is that it isn’t an overly large car. In photos it looks huge.

I own one. It’s significantly smaller than my previous car (2011 Camaro SS). At least in the greater New York area, I think it’s a perfect size for a small family on these fairly small roads.

EDIT - I should note that although the ATS is smaller than the Camaro, it’s bigger inside. I’m not sure how it’s possible, but it is.

That Huayra was on the Dragon 1100 Rally I just went on. He ripped that front splitter driving around Manhatten after the welcome dinner. Owner gave no fucks.

It was a light showing compared to prior gatherings. I think the rain threw everyone off.

Since you’re local, do you autocross? I just got hooked on it at Lime Rock and I’m looking for closer options.

Yeah I recognize the driver. He’s actually the owner’s son’s friend. Talk about perks. The owner seemed very guarded and introverted on the cruise. His son was a pretty cool kid though. If you watch the Vehicle Virgins YouTube video, it’s the owner’s son driving the car.

Edit: that’s the owner in the passenger seat.

me personally, no, the wagon isnt ready for that. Nor do I think I would want to put it through autoX. But my buddy both autox’s his miata, and frs.
